19. Family's favorite icecream/ frozen treat

 

We go through alot of frozen treats with this heat and humidity, but we love ice pops. We like pretty much any flavor or brand that the commissary gets in.

Chris loves the snickers icecream, and Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia. The kids and I love Ben and Jerry's cookie dough.

Blog Challenge: Day 18

18. What does mommy and/ or daddy wear to work

In our house mommy's "uniform" is a t-shirt or tank top and shorts because its hot on Guam and because Im a stay at home mom. Daddy normally wears digital cammies to work unless he has duty then he wears his peanut butter cups (if you arent Navy then you will see why they are called that when you see the picture) I dont normally have the camera waiting for Chris to get home so these are really random pictures.

17. Favorite family game

I wish I could say that we love to play Candy Land or something cute and wholesome but we LOVE to play Plants vs Zombies! We have it for the PC and X-box 360 and all 4 of us get in on it.

Blog Challenge: Day 15

15. Parent's favorite T.V. shows

Chris and I like most of the same TV shows. There is only one that I can think of that he wont sit and watch with me and that is Grey's Anatomy, I love it and he only tolerates it. The one that I don't like and he does is Supernatural, I think its a teeny bit creepy. We love most of the HBO and Showtime shows though, huge fans of Dexter, True Blood, United States of Tara. Also almost anything on Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, TLC, and the History Chanel. We watch way too much TV, but at least its not rotting our brains, some of it is semi-educational.

Elijah's First T-ball Game

Last Saturday Elijah had his first ever t-ball game against the kids at Anderson Air Force Base. He had so much fun and was so worn out by the end of it. Watching 5 and 6 year olds play t-ball is a ton of fun, there are kids that hit the ball and run to 3rd instead of 1st, kids who insist on taking their batting helmet off before they run to 1st and kids who swarm the ball in the outfield once its hit and they fight over it too. But the best part is how proud they all are when they hit the ball and get to run or when they catch the ball or when they throw it where they are supposed to. Elijah is always so proud when he is running back to the dugout.  I'm so glad he's gotten to play, plus he looks so cute in his baseball pants :)
